The chapter's most recent luncheon event "State of the Private Equity Markets in Houston" was held September 21, 2011 at Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse. CFA's Recent Exclusive Interview with former Secretary of Defense, Dr. Robert M. Gates
Recently, Michelle Ocejo with CFA was granted an exclusive interview with Robert Gates, former Secretary of Defense under Presidents Bush and Obama.
It’s clear from Dr. Gates’ interviews and actions that he cares deeply about U.S. troops. When asked what accomplishments during his years as Secretary of Defense is he most proud of, he said, “Well, I think that clearly to my mind what matters the most to me are the things that I was able to do to help the troops, to help them be successful, to help them be safe, and bring them home alive and healthy, and if not, give them the best care and the fastest care available anywhere in the world.”
